The coffeehouse is a vehicle for economic empowerment, entrepreneur development, racial justice, and amplifying Black artistic voices.

THIS AIN’T YOUR AVERAGE COFFEE SHOP. At The Avenue Coffeehouse we pour up more than just phenomenal coffee. When you enter the space you are immediately embraced by soulful music and beautiful Black art. You are greeted by the likes of Madam CJ Walker, Maya Angelou, Ruth McArthur, The Hampton Sisters, David Baker, Miles Davis, Chaka Khan, and James Baldwin… just to name a few. We use only the best premium, ethically sourced coffee beans to craft top-notch lattes, cappuccinos and cups of Black coffee. Most of our pastries are locally sourced and our food is made to order.
